We have always been in love for dogs, even had many breeds of German Shepherds and Brazilian Filas. When our children were younger, beside the school where they studied, there was a house with a Golden Retriever – Tommy – that we always saw by the time we picked up the children at school.

So, everyday we played with it through the gate and we were fascinated by its personality traits and temperament. Soon after, we owned a house and decided to buy a Golden puppy, called Lua, in 2002.

This wonderful female dog soon became a member of the family and its structure and temperament led us to present it in expositions. It won all the competitions in 2003 and 2004, achieving the title of The Great National Winner, being considered one of the main Goldens of the national ranking in 2004. After Lua, other Goldens came; we always picked them in the best sources, all descending from great champions and the best international studs.

Our dogs are great champions in the United States and Canada. Our lineage has the genetics of Maguire and Wagner (international Canadian Champions), Zack (the greatest American stud in the country) and Fox Mulder (the greatest American stud in activity in Brazil).

Golden Sunset’s champions’ generation goes on with Bella and Brownie, Lua’s offspring, which start winning in the shows. They are already achieving the “Best in Show” general title in 2006 expositions, at the age of 11 months only.

Niko, the very promising Gorca’s Merlin’s son, is bringing a new value lineage to Brazil; Jasmin, Wagner’s daughter, Canada’s number 1 in 2002; and Cristal, a female of an exceptional origin, Bistrô’s daughter (BIS BISS Am/CanCH Rush Hill's Watz Cook'n Good Look'n), a recognized American stud and Kirby’s granddaughter (BIS BISS Am/Can CH Rush Hill's Haagen-Dazs), which is considered one of the best Goldens of all times.

This way, we have embraced the Golden Retrievers breeding, neither as a profession, nor as an economic activity, but purely for the pleasure of living together with these wonderful dogs, thus contributing for the development in Brazil, of a breed that strongly reaffirms the known concept “Man’s Best Friend”.
